I've been home exactely 17 days and today was my first day doing nothing. That was after my nightshift ended this morning.. I slept until 2 pmish and then my sister and I decided to watch our fav show, Charmed. I was a good day, relaxing. Tomorrow my grandfather turns 87, so we're gonna have a party for him at his retirement home. Just close family, but it'll be nice to seem them again:) I think dad is putting up the tree as I'm writing this, so we'll probably start decorating for christmas later tonight. We've had advent up until now, now it's christmas! On my part, most of the present are bought, but not all. Not sure what do get my little sister yet, I like to spoil her, but I don't think I can go all out like I did last year with her.. It's the best to give people gifts they really want or even that they wanted but didn't even know they wanted! I love seeing their faces when they open their presents! I feel like it says a lot about how well I know them and I take great pride in really knowing people.
I work on the morning of both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year, but it's alright. We have our big celebration on the eve of Christmas Eve, where we eat Christmas Dinner, open the presents, listen to the Silverboys-choir singing inn christmas and get guests for coffee and cake. Really traditional. And christmasy. I can hardly wait for Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is really just a relaxing day, so I might aswell work and get really well paid for it! Boxing Day is the family day for my family. We usually got to my aunt and uncle in Ski (40 min drive away), but this year we might be at our house. I don't think it's decided yet. All we know is that the family will be together.

Home
Im home. Home with my family. Ive really missed them and it is really good to see them and be home. Been a little busy since I got home actually. Friday I went with my mum to see my grandpa. He's not in super shape, but he seemed really alert that day! He's got dementia, but he actually recognized me! Which was really awesome. He asked about uni and work and life "down there", which is a lot of stuff about me that he remembered. After that we went home to let me unpack. Got a couple of phonecalls to welcome me home and my sister ran in the door with all clothes on to hug me welcome home-ive missed you-hug:) Went to sleep early and slept for apr 15 hours. Which did me good after the long trip home. No major delays on the way back, but a little drama regarding my stuff and the onflight entertainment as I didn't get any on the way from Sydney to Hong Kong...
Saturday after breakfast, my dad and me went to see my sister perform, her class was having a xmas-concert. And then the three of us went to see mum sing with her choir too. After that we went home to have a very typical Norwegian dinner, called "faar-i-kaal", lamb in cabbage. I love it! It's like a stew brewed together. Just yammy if u ask me. After dinner, we went into the capitol to watch the musical "Cats". I almost fell asleep during the show. Not because it was boring, because of the jet-lag. Second act was much better then the first and the choreoagraphy was totally awesome! The voices on the other hand were totally midiocure..
Sunday I sanded the silver and then we got guests for dinner. They always come for dinner around advent, it's tradition, it's advent. Without them, no xmas...
Monday I found out I need glasses. Not to clear up my eyesight, to let my eyes rest. Aperently my eyemucle tenses all the time, which is why I have focus problems and maybe even headaches. So my new glasses I need to wear to release my mucles. Then I went to my best friend, Lines new apt for some catching up and lunch before Paddy drove me home. I luckely had a little sleep before going to work at 9.45 pm. Nightshift. Wasn't that bad, but really sleepy now. After I had a little nap this morning I went to Sandvika to meet Line. It's her b'day today so I bought her lunch and we got to catch up even more. It was good. Really missed her. Now I'm home again, and really sleepy. I can't wait to go to bed..! I work tomorrow as well, so I have to be up early. It should be all good tho as I keep waking up at 5 am-ish..

Leaving
I've been spending a lot of time with Scott and Wade lately. Scott is my friend from Canberra, that lives in Leumeah and Wade is his cousin that lives with him. Wade has a daughter, Tenielle and she is beautiful. She is a little naughty, but who can blame her with a father like Wade:P A little bossy, but super cute! When I'm there, she loves to go through my bag or purse, play with my phone and take photos. Sometimes she takes not that good photos, but sometimes they're good. I recon she'll be a photagrapher when she grows up. She is only 4 though, so she has time:) We've grown close, Tenielle and me and Wade and me. On Monday I went to their house, but they weren't there, so I had the evening/night with Scott and Annie. Annie is Scotts girlfriend. I actually decorated the christmas tree that they are having this christmas! Annie helped me with the placing and the lights. Too bad the green lights on the tree lights went out, so Scott had to buy new ones. I said good-bye to then today, twice actually, cos I had to go back when I realised I'd forgotten my iPod at their house! It was sad saying good-bye as always, but I know I'll see them again:) Probably go straight to their house when I get back to Oz!
Can hardly believe I leave so soon. Tomorrow. Just one more nite here. Looking forward to getting home tho. My sister, my mum, my dad, the rest of my family, my friends, even work! Not that I'll work that much apearenty, there is not much work anymore. Hope I'll at least get enough tho. I'm looking forward to christmas now! Not that you can get that much of the christmad spirit here, with the heat! Not that I am complaining! Just saying. Which is why I am coming home! To the cold, rainy and snowy Norway..! Advent is up now, so that'll be good and I'll have time to hang out with friends, yay! Until next time, in Norway! Bye Oz!! For now
